1. About these terms

These terms govern customer use of padappai.com and The Padappai Tech services (the Platform), operated by . By creating an account, requesting a service, approving a quote, or continuing to use the Platform, you agree to these terms and applicable privacy notices. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian consumer law.

2. Eligibility and customer account

You must be legally capable of entering into a contract. Account details must be complete and accurate. Google sign-in confirms the online identity presented to us, but a valid Indian mobile number must also be verified by OTP. A fresh OTP may be required for every service request. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for promptly reporting suspected misuse.

3. Role of the Platform

The Platform helps customers discover providers, submit verified requests, communicate requirements, receive operator assistance, review proposed charges, and maintain service records. Unless a service is expressly identified as supplied directly by the Platform, the selected independent provider supplies and is responsible for the on-site or remote service. Platform staff may call the customer, clarify the request, coordinate a provider, and record agreed operational details.

4. Requests, availability and dispatch

A request may be made only for a provider shown as available or open. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, arrival time, completion, or a particular provider. A request becomes actionable only after required identity checks and operator confirmation. The Platform may reassign, postpone, decline, or cancel a request when no suitable provider is available, information is incomplete, safety is at risk, or the request is unlawful.

5. Estimates, charges and additional work

Descriptions and initial prices may be indicative. The provider or operator must explain known visiting, inspection, labour, parts, transport, tax, or other charges before dispatch or before chargeable work begins. Additional work or parts require customer approval. The customer should ask questions and retain the written quote, invoice, receipt, or service record. Unauthorized charges may be disputed.

6. Customer responsibilities and site safety

Provide the correct name, mobile number, address, directions, service details, risks, and access information. Ensure that an adult is present where reasonably required, the site is safe and lawful to enter, pets and hazards are controlled, and required permissions or utilities are available. Secure cash, jewellery, sensitive documents, credentials, and valuables. Back up data before device repair or technical service.

7. Service quality, parts and warranties

Providers must act professionally and perform accepted work with reasonable care and skill. Important parts should be identified as new, refurbished, customer-supplied, or otherwise. Manufacturer warranties, provider workmanship commitments, and Platform promotions apply only when recorded. No insurance, damage cover, refund promise, or service warranty is provided by the Platform unless explicitly stated in writing for the relevant booking.

8. Payments, cancellation and refunds

Pay only the amount approved through the recorded quote, invoice, or agreed method. The payee may be the provider or Platform as disclosed. A request may be cancelled before dispatch without charge unless a disclosed commitment has already been incurred. A reasonable disclosed visiting charge may apply after dispatch or attendance. Refund eligibility depends on the payment recipient, work completed, applicable policy, and law. No undisclosed cancellation charge will be imposed.

9. Reviews and acceptable use

Submit reviews only for genuine eligible work. Reviews must be truthful, relevant, respectful, and must not reveal unnecessary personal data. The Platform may verify, moderate, reject, remove, or defer reviews and media for fraud, abuse, privacy, safety, illegality, conflicts, or irrelevance. Do not impersonate others, submit false emergencies, harass people, manipulate ratings, misuse OTPs, upload harmful content, or use services unlawfully.

10. Personal data and communications

The Platform processes identity, contact, location, request, transaction, review, device, and support information to operate and secure the service, connect customers and providers, comply with law, and resolve complaints. Relevant details are shared with the selected provider and authorized operators. Promotional notifications require applicable consent and can be disabled. Necessary service and safety communications may still be sent where legally permitted.

11. Responsibility and statutory rights

Each party remains responsible for its own acts and omissions. The provider is responsible for the service it supplies, including workmanship, representations, tools, personnel, and approved parts. The Platform remains responsible for its own legal obligations and express commitments. Liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, is not excluded. Statutory consumer remedies remain available.

12. Complaints, changes and governing law

Report complaints through the Platform or to , including the request reference and evidence. Grievances may be sent to . Indian law governs these terms, and courts or statutory forums with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes without restricting mandatory consumer jurisdiction. Material changes will be published as a new version and may require fresh acceptance. Operator contact: ; ; .
